Considerably more planning is required for a group trip than for an individual’s run. The starting point for the plan is the intended route from which all other things such as sites, accommodation, security, etc., are determined.

The map shows our planned route for this adventure. As well as zooming in and out to adjust the scale of the map you can also click and drag the display.

Clearly the route shown is subject to alteration depending on the political situation in the Middle East, but it is currently our intention to go from the UK through France, Italy, Greece, Turkey, Syria, Jordan, Egypt, Sudan, Ethiopia, Kenya, Tanzania, Zambia and Namibia before arriving in South Africa. Regular visitors will note that the proposed route to Istanbul has already been changed.
